Chile Lime Seasoned Pepitas

Serving size: 1 ounce, Makes 16 servings


1 pound hulled pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon lime zest
1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat oven to 325º F. 
  2. In a bowl, toss pepitas with in oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine chili powder, lime zest, and salt. Add seasoning mixture to pepitas and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread in a single layer on a sheet pan and bake 5 minutes or until fragrant.

Nutrition per 1-ounce serving: 180 calories, 15 g fat, 2.5 g saturated fat, 60 mg sodium, 4 g carbohydrates, 0 g sugar, 2 g fiber, 9 g protein
