Consuelo's Cafe: Meet Freddy

We believe that when talent is celebrated and a community vibe is created. 

As a unique way to continue building community among our team, we've launched "Consuelo's Cafe," a company-wide initiative which allows employees to serve as a guest employees in other FLIK locations. By participating in Consuelo's Cafe, employees not only experience other businesses and divisions, but also serves as an exciting opportunity for guests to experience the diversity and creativity of our team. 

Meet Wilfredo, better known as Freddy. Check out his story below! 


Meet Freddy:

  • I was born in Puerto Rico and I moved to the United States when I was a teenager. Living in Puerto Rice taught me a lot about food, farming and sustainability
  • I have worked in country clubs and even owned Tom Cafe in Plainville, CT before joining FLIK. 

On Freddy's Menu:
