Turmeric Sesame Lemongrass Tofu

Turmeric, Sesame, Lemongrass Tofu

Flavors Of The Philippines

We are continuing with turmeric in this Filipino-inspired dish featuring lemongrass, sesame, and our spice of the month, turmeric. Lemongrass is an herb that's frequently used in cooking or as a tea. It has a light, lemon flavor with a hint of mint. This recipe blends fresh lemongrass along with turmeric, sesame oil, garlic, and tahini to make a marinade that's packed with flavor.

We recommend purchasing extra firm tofu for this recipe and draining well. Marking the tofu on a grill before baking is optional, but will add a depth of flavor to add to the dish. Pair with your favorite vegetables or serve over rice.
